As a manufacturer of computer systems and a distributor of PC accessories, we take our responsibility for the safety of all products in our range seriously. We fully comply with all statutory obligations under the European Union’s General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)[cite: 2].

Economic Operator Status: For PC systems branded under the NYKTA name, we act as the manufacturer (placing the product on the market). For commercial trade goods (third-party accessories), the respective manufacturer or importer is indicated along with their contact details directly in the product description.

Our Measures for Safe PC Systems

For our in-house PC manufacturing, we rely on a multi-stage process to guarantee the highest level of product safety:

• High-Quality & Certified Components: We exclusively use components from reputable manufacturers that meet all CE conformity requirements, and we verify the declarations of conformity provided by our suppliers. New components are independently tested before being added to our product range. In addition, we perform commercial due diligence and random sample inspections upon incoming goods to ensure that the delivered batches comply with our product specifications.
• 100% End-of-Line Inspection (Piece-by-Piece Testing): Every individual PC system from our production line undergoes a comprehensive safety inspection—including electrical safety checks, visual checks for defects, stability, and performance testing—before leaving our facility.
• Traceability: All NYKTA PCs are uniquely identifiable via a serial number and order number. All components used within our PC systems are fully traceable via their individual serial numbers from the moment of goods receipt to final dispatch.
• Product Recall Readiness: In the unlikely event that a product recall becomes necessary, we maintain an established recall plan alongside all required information for immediate and effective implementation.

Safety Instructions & Warnings

Please read and observe the following safety instructions carefully before operating your computer. Failure to comply with these instructions may lead to property damage, operational malfunctions, or personal injury.

• Acclimatization: If the computer was transported or stored in low outdoor temperatures, allow it to sit unopened at room temperature for at least 2 hours (preferably 3 to 4 hours in the event of severe frost) before operation. Temperature differences can cause condensation to form inside the system. Operating the device before it has fully acclimatized may cause short circuits and severe damage to electronic components.
• Packaging & Transport Locks: Completely remove all packaging materials and transport locks before turning on the device. Any packaging or protective materials left inside the case may obstruct air circulation, leading to overheating or damage to the device.
• Transit Damage: Do not operate the computer if it shows visible signs of transport damage. In this case, contact our customer support team immediately. Before initial setup, check whether the graphics card, CPU cooler, and other expansion cards are still firmly and correctly seated after transport. Despite careful packaging, severe transit vibrations can occasionally cause components to loosen.
• Operating Environment: Only operate the computer in dry indoor environments. Place the computer on a stable, level surface and ensure adequate ventilation. Never cover or block the ventilation openings. Maintain a sufficient distance from walls, radiators, and other heat sources.
• Power Supply & Cabling: Only connect the computer to a properly installed and grounded power outlet. Do not use the computer if the power cable, plug, or chassis is damaged.
• Maintenance & Opening the Case: Disconnect the computer completely from the mains power supply before opening the case, as well as before cleaning or performing maintenance work. Do not attempt any unauthorized repairs or modifications to the power supply unit (PSU) or other safety-critical components. Improper interventions can result in severe personal injury, electric shock, or equipment damage.
• ESD Protection: The interior of the computer contains sensitive electronic components that can be damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD). Only open the case when necessary and observe appropriate ESD protection measures.
• Foreign Objects & Liquids: Ensure that no liquids or conductive objects enter the interior of the device.
• Warning Signs during Operation: In the event of unusual noises, odors, or smoke development, turn off the computer immediately, disconnect it from the power grid, and cease operation. Contact our customer support team without delay.
• Child Safety: The computer is not a toy. Keep all packaging materials and small parts out of the reach of children.
• Disposal: At the end of its service life, dispose of the computer in accordance with the applicable regional regulations for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
