Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Before Purchasing

To let your new gaming PC truly flex its muscles, it needs the right partner by its side: your monitor. Which screen fits your system perfectly depends primarily on the graphics card. Here is a small guide to help you get the most out of your budget:

  • Resolution vs. Graphics Card: If you choose an entry-level or mid-range system, a Full HD monitor (1080p) is ideal for chasing maximum FPS. For our power systems, WQHD (1440p) is the absolute price-performance king – razor-sharp and super smooth. A 4K monitor (2160p) is only truly fun with absolute high-end graphics cards, as the extremely high resolution consumes an enormous amount of processing power.
  • The Magical Hz (Refresh Rate): Forget classic 60 Hz office monitors. For a true gaming experience, we recommend a monitor with at least 144 Hz or, even better, 240 Hz. This makes the image run extremely smoothly, movements are perfectly sharp, and you get a real competitive edge in fast-paced shooters.
  • G-Sync & FreeSync: When purchasing, make sure that the monitor supports NVIDIA G-Sync (for NVIDIA graphics cards) or AMD FreeSync (for AMD graphics cards). These technologies perfectly synchronize your PC's frame rate with the monitor, making annoying stuttering or torn images (tearing) things of the past.

We want you to be able to use the full potential of your new PC from the very first second without having to fight your way through complicated BIOS menus beforehand. That's why we optimize every NYKTA PC before delivery and activate the following performance features by default:

  • XMP / EXPO (RAM Tuning): Manufacturers of high-speed RAM store profiles on the modules (XMP for Intel, EXPO for AMD). Without activation, the RAM only runs at a slow standard clock frequency. We enable this profile in the BIOS for you so that your RAM runs exactly at the high speed and tight timings you paid for.
  • Resizable BAR (Smart Access Memory): This modern feature allows the processor (CPU) to access the entire graphics memory (VRAM) of the graphics card at once, instead of only in small chunks. This provides a noticeable FPS boost and more stable frametimes in many modern games.
  • Optimized Power Limits: The default settings of motherboard manufacturers either pump far too much power through the CPU (resulting in unnecessary heat) or slow down the processor too early. We configure the power limits in the BIOS so that your CPU can unleash its maximum performance while keeping the system cool, quiet, and absolutely stable.
In short: Unpack, plug in, start playing – your PC is already tuned by us for maximum gaming performance!

Of course, the PC arrives fully assembled at your doorstep. Many other manufacturers disassemble large and heavy graphics cards before shipping. For you as a customer, this means tedious assembly work after unpacking, as well as a real risk of installation errors or damage to sensitive hardware.

We have safely resolved this issue: With us, the graphics card stays exactly where it belongs. Thanks to the combination of a firmly installed graphics card bracket and our robust internal transport protection (made of expanded PU foam and/or EPE), the hardware is so perfectly protected that it survives transit completely assembled.

For you, this means: After unpacking, simply remove the transport protection from the interior, plug it in, and immediately start gaming risk-free!

Purchase / Payment / Shipping

An overview of the payment options we offer can be found under Payment Options.

Don't worry, this happens from time to time. Payment service providers use automated fraud prevention filters that are set very sensitively and can block a transaction.

What you can do now:

  • Check your details: Double-check that all entries (name, address, card details) match exactly.
  • Change payment method: Select another payment method for your purchase. Often, a second attempt with a different provider works immediately.
Tip: If you choose advance payment (bank transfer), you benefit directly from our discount, as we transparently pass the saved payment processing fees on to you!
  • Contact your provider: If you absolutely want to pay with your preferred payment method, the customer support of your bank or payment service provider can usually tell you exactly what the issue was.

For data privacy reasons, we have no insight into why payments are declined.

If you order multiple systems from us, you will save on shipping in any case: For every additional PC in the same order, no additional shipping costs will apply. We fully cover the extra costs for secure transport for you.

Would you like to order 5 PCs or more? Then please send us a short request via our Contact Form. We will then be happy to check individual options for you.

This depends on your chosen configuration and the delivery country. You can see the pure processing time until shipment directly in the shop for each configuration. Once the package has been handed over, the transit time of the shipping service provider is added:

  • Germany: 1–2 business days via parcel shipping (DHL) or 2–4 business days via freight forwarding
  • Austria: 2–3 business days via parcel shipping (DHL) or 3–5 business days via freight forwarding
  • France: 3–5 business days via parcel shipping (DHL) or 5–8 business days via freight forwarding

Don't worry, we will keep you updated: As soon as your PC is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can also check the current status at any time in your customer account.

Entirely up to you! You can easily order your PC as a guest without setting up a permanent account. However, opting for a customer account has its advantages: You can view the live status of your assembly directly in your customer account in the shop, and you'll have all data immediately at hand for future support questions or issues. This saves valuable time in an emergency.

Yes. We will automatically send your invoice with itemized VAT to you via email as soon as your PC is on its way. If you cannot find the email later on, just give us a quick shout – we will send you a copy.

As soon as your PC is fully assembled, tested, and the label has been printed, your tracking number will be ready. You can find it in two places:

  • Via email: We will automatically send you a shipping confirmation containing the tracking link as soon as the PC is ready to ship.
  • In your customer account: If you registered a customer account, you can also view the tracking number directly in your order overview.
Important note on tracking status: It can take until the next business day for the shipping carrier to pick up the package from us and scan it at the depot. Until then, the status at the carrier often remains at "Shipment information received". This is completely normal – as soon as the first scan occurs at the origin depot, live tracking begins.

Since trading high-value computer hardware is unfortunately highly susceptible to VAT fraud, we have consciously decided against automated net-price processing in the shop checkout. Our system does not allow exceptions here.

However, we are happy to support you as a genuine business customer: Please send us your inquiry including your desired systems and company details via the Contact Form. Our team will manually check the documents and get back to you quickly with a suitable solution.

For regular companies and commercial customers, purchasing on account is unfortunately not possible. Please choose one of our other offered payment methods at checkout. Public institutions and state entities (such as government agencies, schools, or universities) can be supplied on account by prior arrangement. Since this cannot be processed directly through the shop system, please send us a brief message in advance via the Contact Form.

In the vast majority of cases, your order arrives classically via DHL Paket. We make an exception for particularly large and heavy systems or if you order multiple PCs at once. To absolutely rule out transit damage, a freight forwarding company (Spedition) will deliver your goods in these cases. You will find the exact shipping status and tracking information as usual in your shipping confirmation.

You can reach us via our contact form, by email, or by phone using the contact details provided on the page.

If you are missing a specific component, feel free to contact us via our Contact Form. Since we do not list every theoretically possible component by default, we are happy to look into individual cases to see what is possible and try to turn your custom wish into reality.

The appropriate IEC power cable (power cord C13/Schuko for the wall outlet) is of course included with your PC. Cables for external devices – such as the monitor cable (HDMI or DisplayPort) as well as cables for a mouse, keyboard, or sound systems – are not included in the scope of delivery of the PC. These cables are usually included with the respective external devices themselves (so it is best to check the product description or the box of your monitor).

Initial Setup / Commissioning

First, the most important news: Don't worry, all of our shipments are 100% fully insured. The financial risk is absolutely not yours. Depending on when you notice the damage, you should proceed as follows:

  • Upon delivery (box is visibly heavily damaged or marked as "repacked"): Please refuse delivery directly with the courier. This is the cleanest path for you. In this case, we prefer to completely rebuild your system from scratch rather than having you deal with a damaged PC or an incomplete package.
  • After acceptance (damage only noticed when unpacking): Should the box have been undamaged from the outside but the hardware inside sustained damage nonetheless, please take some photos of the damage and the packaging immediately. Then, contact our customer service via email at support@nykta-pc.eu – we will quickly find a pragmatic and straightforward solution for you.

The reason for this is the formation of condensation. When ice-cold hardware meets warm room air, moisture immediately settles inside the case. If you turn on the computer immediately in this state, you risk a short circuit and permanent damage to the components.

Please give the PC at least 2 hours (in case of severe frost, even 4 hours) after delivery to acclimate to room temperature, until all components are completely dry.

To ensure your new PC reaches your desk undamaged, it is best to proceed step by step:

  1. Open outer box & remove padding: First, carefully open the large outer shipping box and remove the protective filling material or padding blocks.
  2. Open case box: Beneath it, the actual box of your PC case will appear. Open this one at the top side as well.
  3. Turn case box upside down: Grip the box at the bottom and carefully turn it upside down so that the PC, along with its foam cushions, slowly slides downward out of the box. This is significantly safer than pulling the heavy PC upward out of the box.
Tip: If you find it difficult to slide the PC out of the box, try folding the box handles outward.
Remove the internal transport protection (Very important!): Open the side panel of the case and carefully remove the padding material from the interior. This protection safeguards the graphics card and CPU cooler during transport, but it must be completely removed before turning the system on for the first time.

This depends on whether your PC has a separate (dedicated) graphics card:

  • PCs with a separate graphics card (Gaming & High-End PCs): Please connect your monitor cable (HDMI or DisplayPort) further down directly to the graphics card – and not higher up to the motherboard. We have covered the incorrect ports on the motherboard with a sticker (symbol) for you. If you connect the monitor there, the screen will remain black or your games will run extremely slowly and stutter.
  • PCs without a separate graphics card: If your system does not have an extra graphics card installed, you normally use the ports directly on the motherboard (top). In this case, these ports are not covered by a sticker.

Yes, absolutely! Please keep both the large outer shipping box and the custom interior padding material. Should your PC need to be moved, transported, or sent back to us later for an upgrade or service case, this specialized packaging is the only way to ship the system completely securely.

Without the original interior padding, a re-shipment risks massive damage: The thin original box of the case alone is not suitable for transporting a complete PC system. The heavy graphics card can snap off, and the CPU cooler can also come loose due to vibrations, destroying the entire system.

Please do not take any risks here: If you no longer have the packaging or padding material, simply contact us. Upon request, we will gladly send you new, custom-fit shipping material for a fee (€19.90 plus shipping costs).

Where can I find the remaining accessories (Wi-Fi antennas, power cables, etc.)?

Power cables, the Wi-Fi antennas (if your PC has Wi-Fi), as well as any leftover cables, manuals, and accessories of the installed components are packed together for you in an accessory box. As a tip: As a rule, we simply use the original motherboard box for this. After unpacking the PC, just look at the very bottom of the large outer shipping box – you will find the box there.

Note: If your PC features Wi-Fi, make sure to screw the antennas onto the back of the case, as reception is extremely poor without them.

If you own a modern gaming monitor with a high refresh rate (e.g., 144 Hz, 240 Hz, or more), always use a DisplayPort cable whenever possible. Many older HDMI cables or older HDMI ports on monitors automatically limit the display to 60 Hz. To ensure you actually feel the full power and smoothness of your new PC, DisplayPort is almost always the best choice.

Where can I find my Windows product key?

Don't worry, you don't have to type out a long serial code from a sticker on the case. We use official OEM licenses for our systems, exactly as intended by Microsoft. This means that the Windows license is digitally linked to your hardware directly during setup. As soon as you turn on the PC for the first time, connect to the internet, and complete the initial setup, Microsoft recognizes your hardware configuration and activates the operating system fully automatically in the background.

Don't worry, your case is highly likely absolutely flawless! To protect the side panel from scratches during transport, a very thin, transparent protective film is applied at the factory. This film sometimes sits so perfectly and tightly that you can barely see it. You can carefully lift it at a corner with your fingernail and simply peel it off – after that, your PC will shine in full glory.

Since we exclusively install modern motherboards with standardized 3-pin A-RGB connections, you can easily control and synchronize the complete lighting of your PC via software directly in Windows. Depending on which manufacturer's motherboard is installed in your PC, we recommend downloading the appropriate software:

  • ASUS Motherboards: ASUS Armoury Crate / Aura Sync
  • Gigabyte Motherboards: Gigabyte Control Center / RGB Fusion
  • MSI Motherboards: MSI Center / Mystic Light
  • Corsair Components: Corsair iCUE (if you have chosen a system with Corsair controls)
Important note for specific cases: Should a separate RGB controller be installed in your case, it may happen that you first have to activate the mode "Control by software" on the case itself (usually via a button at the top) so that the motherboard takes over control. More detailed information can be found in the case manual.

That depends entirely on which option you selected at purchase:

  • You chose a system with Windows pre-installed / license: No. In this case, we have already pre-installed all important system drivers for you. Your PC is ready to go immediately.
  • You chose the PC without an operating system: Yes, highly likely. Although Windows automatically installs many standard drivers during a fresh setup, it often installs outdated versions or misses some entirely. You should download the latest drivers directly from the respective manufacturer (motherboard manufacturer).

Important for all gamers (graphics card drivers): Independent of our pre-installation, you should regularly update your graphics card driver manually. This is the only way to ensure that new games run stably and you get maximum performance. You can always find the latest driver directly on the manufacturer's website:

If the manufacturer of a component includes a driver CD, we will of course place it in your accessory box for completeness. However, we strongly advise against using these CDs! Drivers on CDs are almost always outdated, as a lot of time passes between the production of the CD and delivery to you. Furthermore, modern gaming PCs generally no longer feature a CD drive.

Instead, please always use the latest drivers directly from the web. You can find the newest versions on the respective manufacturer pages under the "Support" section. Here are the most important sources for you:

  • Motherboard Manufacturers (for chipset, audio, LAN & Wi-Fi): ASUS Support, Gigabyte Support, MSI Support
  • Graphics Card Manufacturers (for maximum gaming performance): NVIDIA Driver Download, AMD Driver Download, Intel Driver Download

Technical Questions

If you don't hear anything after starting the PC, it is usually due to a small setting in Windows. Since modern monitors often have their own (albeit poor) speakers, Windows sometimes automatically switches the sound output to the monitor. Here is how you solve the problem:

  1. Click on the small speaker icon in the bottom right corner of the Windows taskbar.
  2. Click on the arrow icon next to the volume slider to open the list of output devices.
  3. Select your actual device here (e.g., your speakers or your headset, often named after the Realtek audio chip of your motherboard).
Tip: If you use a headset with a jack plug, it is best to use the ports directly on the back of the motherboard (green jack) to get the best sound quality.

If you have connected the monitor cable correctly to the graphics card (i.e., not further up on the motherboard) and the screen still remains black, you must first adjust your monitor's settings.

The Solution: Press the menu button on your monitor (often located on the back or bottom of the screen) and look for the setting "Input", "Source", or "Signal Source". Manually switch it there from, for example, HDMI to DisplayPort (depending on which cable you are using). Unfortunately, many monitors do not switch automatically.

Don't panic! If absolutely nothing happens after pressing the power button (no lights, no fans), it is due to a minor detail in the vast majority of cases. Cables or switches can loosen slightly due to vibrations during transport. Please go through this short checklist:

  • The Power Supply Toggle Switch: On the back of the PC (where the power cable goes in), there is usually a small toggle switch directly next to the cable. This must be in the "I" (On) position, not "O" (Off).
  • The Power Cable: Check whether the power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet as well as absolutely firmly and deeply into the power supply unit of the PC.
  • The Outlet: As a quick test, try a different wall outlet or check whether a power strip that might be connected in between is switched on.
  • Check Internal Cables: If the PC still remains silent, disconnect it from the power source, open the side panel, and carefully press the large cable connections (especially the wide 24-pin connector on the right side of the motherboard and the connectors on the graphics card) firmly again. In individual cases, cables can loosen slightly from their locking mechanism due to transit vibrations.

If none of this helps: Don't worry, we won't leave you stranded. In this case, simply contact us directly via our Contact Form. Our support team will take care of making sure your gaming PC functions as intended as soon as possible.

Yes, you can do that at any time. Although a physical installation medium (such as a DVD or a USB stick) is not included in the scope of delivery, you can easily download the operating system directly from Microsoft for free. Here is how it works:

  1. Create Installation Medium: You will need an empty USB stick (at least 8 GB). Download the free "Media Creation Tool" for your Windows version directly from Microsoft. This tool converts your USB stick into an installation medium.
  2. Follow Instructions: Since the process requires a few steps, you will find a detailed and easy-to-understand guide for Windows reinstallation on the Microsoft website.
  3. Select the Right Version: During installation, make absolutely sure to select exactly the version you purchased from us (usually Windows Home or Windows Pro).
  4. Automatic Activation: You do not need to enter a key during installation (simply click on "I don't have a product key"). As soon as the PC is fully set up and connected to the internet, Microsoft will recognize your hardware again and activate Windows fully automatically.
Important Risk Notes – Please Observe!
  • Data Loss: A reinstallation will irrevocably delete all data on the affected hard drive (usually drive C:). Make sure to back up your personal data, save games, and documents on an external hard drive or a cloud storage beforehand!
  • Hardware Changes: Automatic activation only works as long as you have not replaced any essential core components (such as the motherboard).
  • Missing Drivers: After a completely fresh Windows installation, special drivers for the graphics card and motherboard are often missing. After installation, please visit our FAQ item "Do I need to install drivers?" to find the matching links to the manufacturer pages so that your PC delivers full performance again.

Yes, dust is your hardware's biggest enemy. Over time, dust builds up in fans and heatsinks, preventing proper airflow. The result: your PC runs hotter, the fans become louder, and in the worst case the system may reduce its performance to protect itself from overheating. Depending on the environment, we recommend cleaning your PC every 3 to 6 months.

Quick guide for safe cleaning:

  1. Preparation: Shut down the PC completely, switch the power supply to the "O" position, and unplug the power cable.
  2. Open the case: Remove the side panel to access the inside of the PC.
  3. Remove dust: It is best to use a can of compressed air or a soft brush for hard-to-reach areas. Carefully blow or brush dust away from the heatsinks (especially the CPU cooler and graphics card) and the case fans.
Important – Always prevent fans from spinning: Whether you are using compressed air or a vacuum cleaner to remove larger dust deposits, always hold the fan blades in place carefully with a finger. If the fans spin at very high speeds due to strong airflow or the suction of a vacuum cleaner, two problems can occur: the excessive speed may damage the bearings, or the fan can act like a small generator and feed electrical current back into the motherboard, potentially damaging electronic components.
  1. Clean the dust filters: If your case has magnetic dust filters (usually located at the top, front, or underneath the power supply), remove them, wipe them clean with a dry cloth or rinse them with water. Make sure they are completely dry before reinstalling them.
Important – Never open or clean the inside of the power supply:
The power supply contains no user-serviceable parts. Never open the power supply and do not insert any objects or body parts (e.g. brushes, compressed air nozzles, vacuum cleaner attachments, or fingers) through the fan grille or any other openings. Even after the PC has been switched off and disconnected from the mains, components inside the power supply may still carry life-threatening voltages. Only clean the outside of the power supply or the case dust filter underneath it (if present), and never attempt to clean the inside of the power supply.

If your PC does not find the Wi-Fi network or the connection drops constantly, it is usually due to one of four causes. Please go through the following checklist:

  • Did you choose a configuration with Wi-Fi? Not every motherboard we use has a Wi-Fi module installed by default. Please briefly check your order confirmation to see if your system is equipped with integrated Wi-Fi. If not, you can easily retrofit Wi-Fi via a USB Wi-Fi adapter or a PCIe expansion card.
  • Are the Wi-Fi antennas screwed on? This is the most common error source: If your PC features Wi-Fi, two black rod antennas (or an external antenna with a cable) are included in the accessory box of your motherboard box. You must screw these onto the two golden threads on the back of the motherboard! Without the antennas, the PC has virtually no reception – even if you stand directly next to the router.
  • Is the correct driver installed? If you purchased the PC without an operating system or reinstalled Windows yourself, Windows often does not recognize the Wi-Fi module immediately. In this case, you must download the appropriate Wi-Fi driver from the support page of your motherboard manufacturer.
  • Does the Wi-Fi work with other devices? Briefly check with your smartphone or laptop whether your home Wi-Fi works in general. If yes, the problem lies with the PC. If no, please restart your Wi-Fi router.
  • Are you using the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz frequency? Modern routers usually transmit on two frequencies. The 5 GHz band is extremely fast and perfect for gaming, but has a shorter range and penetrates thick walls poorly. The 2.4 GHz band is slower but reaches significantly further. If you experience connection drops, try connecting to the other frequency band of your router as a test.
  • Is the PC located in a "dead zone"? The metal case of your PC heavily shields signals. If the back of the PC (where the antennas are located) stands very close to a wall or the PC is tucked deep under a solid desk, this blocks reception. Try turning or angling the PC or the antennas slightly.
  • Is Windows Wi-Fi Power Saving Mode active? Sometimes Windows switches the Wi-Fi adapter into power saving mode unprompted, leading to sudden disconnects in the middle of a match.
The Solution: Type "Device Manager" into the Windows search, open it, and look for your Wi-Fi card under "Network adapters". Right-click on it, choose Properties, go to the Power Management tab, and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

Yes, absolutely! You don't need to worry – your NYKTA PC is not defective, it is merely performing its completely normal startup routines. There are two phenomena that are entirely typical:

  • The "Blow-Dryer Effect" when turning on: When you press the power button, the fans may spin up extremely loudly for a few seconds. This is because the motherboard performs a brief self-test at startup. Only when the BIOS is loaded and the temperatures of the components are read does the automatic fan control take effect, regulating the system down to whisper-quiet operation.
  • Multiple Restarts (Memory Training): Especially with modern systems featuring fast DDR5 RAM, it can happen that the PC restarts briefly two to three times in a row during the very first boot (or after it was completely disconnected from the power grid) before an image appears on the monitor. In this phase, the motherboard optimizes the signal timings of the RAM to guarantee maximum stability during gaming.
  • The "Long Black Screen" during booting: Sometimes it takes up to a minute or longer after turning the system on before the first image or logo appears on the monitor. This usually happens after a major driver, firmware, or BIOS update. During this time, the RAM is completely retrained and configured for the system.
In short: Just let the PC do its thing when turning it on – after a few moments, everything will run like clockwork!

You treated yourself to a fancy gaming monitor with 144 Hz, 240 Hz, or more, but the image somehow doesn't feel smooth in the game or the FPS counter is stuck? Don't worry, your hardware is not bottlenecking you – usually, it is just a hidden setting in Windows. By default, Windows often sets new screens to a meager 60 Hz. Here is how you reclaim your full gaming power:

  • Unlock in Windows: Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings. Scroll down and click on Advanced display. There you will find the item Choose a refresh rate – set this to the maximum value your monitor supports.
  • Check in the Graphics Driver: If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, right-click on the desktop, open the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to Change resolution, and check the refresh rate there as well.
  • Check in the Game: Some games override Windows settings. Look into the graphics settings of your game for terms like Refresh Rate (Hz), V-Sync, or FPS Limit and match them to your monitor.
Important Additional Tip: Make sure that your monitor is actually connected to the graphics card and that you are using a suitable cable (DisplayPort is usually the best choice for extremely high Hz numbers!).

Don't worry, your hard drive is not broken or forgotten! If your PC is equipped with two hard drives, it can happen during a fresh Windows installation that the second drive is still "sleeping". This means it is physically present in Windows but has not yet been set up (partitioned) or assigned a drive letter (such as "D:").

With this short 3-step guide, you can easily wake it up in the Windows Disk Management:

  1. Open Disk Management: Right-click on the Windows Start icon (at the very bottom left of your taskbar) and select "Disk Management" from the menu.
  2. Find the Hard Drive: In the lower section of the window, you will see a list of your drives. Look for the bar that is marked completely in black and displayed as "Unallocated" or "Not Initialized" – that is your second hard drive.
  3. Set Up the Drive: Right-click on this black bar and select "New Simple Volume...". A small wizard will open. Simply click through with "Next" (the default settings are already perfect). Windows will automatically assign the maximum size and the next free drive letter to the drive.

Once you click "Finish", the bar turns blue and your second hard drive will immediately appear normally in Windows Explorer under "This PC". Have fun filling it with your games!

We deliver every NYKTA PC with a stable, thoroughly tested, and current BIOS version. The system is optimized out-of-the-box so that all components harmonize perfectly with each other. For normal everyday gaming, you absolutely do not need to do anything. The golden tech rule applies here: "Never change a running system".

When does a BIOS update become sensible or necessary anyway?

  • Hardware Upgrades: If you want to place a completely new processor generation onto your motherboard in a few years, which did not even exist when you bought the PC, a BIOS update is mandatory so that the board recognizes the new CPU.
  • Specific Issues: Should unexpected system instabilities occur against expectations, or if a game developer releases an update that requires a newer BIOS version, an update can help.
A vital final note: A BIOS update intervenes deeply into the heart of your motherboard. Should a power outage occur during the update process or if the PC is turned off in the middle of it, the motherboard can become unusable.
Please note: Damage caused by errors during a self-performed update or due to improper operation is excluded from our voluntary warranty. Therefore, please only perform an update when it is truly necessary and follow the motherboard manufacturer's instructions exactly. If you are unsure, just ask our support team – we are happy to help!

If the Bluetooth connection drops or stutters, it is usually due to missing antennas. Please check whether the Wi-Fi antennas are screwed onto the back of the PC.

The Reason: On almost all modern motherboards, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built on a shared module. The external antennas are therefore mandatory for receiving the Bluetooth signal as well.

The Solution: If the ports on the back are empty, screw on the antennas included with the PC (from the accessory box). Without these antennas, the Bluetooth signal often only reaches a few centimeters.

Modern gaming hardware is designed to reach high temperatures under load in order to deliver maximum performance. A hot PC is therefore initially no cause for concern. The standard values at a glance:

  • Processor (CPU): Temperatures of up to 90 °C or briefly even 100 °C under full load are completely normal for modern Intel and AMD processors and are intended by the manufacturer.
  • Graphics Card (GPU): Here, normal values under load usually lie between 65 °C and 85 °C. The so-called "Hotspot" value (the hottest spot on the chip) may also lie above 90 °C.
  • Safety Shutdown: You do not need to fear overheating damage. If a component gets too hot, it automatically downclocks itself (Thermal Throttling) or shuts down the PC immediately for protection.

Quick checklist if temperatures suddenly rise:

  • Check Fresh Air Supply: Ensure that the PC stands free. It should not be confined inside a closed desk compartment or stand directly against a wall. The fans must be able to pull in and blow out air unhindered.
  • Remove Dust: Depending on the room, dust deposits over time in the dust filters and on the radiators or cooling fins. Clean these regularly and carefully (e.g., with compressed air spray) to maintain the airflow.
  • Fan Curves in the BIOS: Since we have optimized your power limits at the factory, the system already runs in the best balance of cooling and noise level. Only change the fan curves in the BIOS or via software if you know exactly what effects this has on the airflow.

As long as you are only on the desktop, surfing the internet, or watching videos, the hardware is barely put under load and stays cool. In this state, the fans of the graphics card and the power supply shut down completely. This makes the system work absolutely silently while idling.

When the fans kick in: Only when you start a game or run a demanding application do the temperatures rise. As soon as a certain threshold (usually between 50 °C and 60 °C) is exceeded, the fans start automatically and cool the components down again. After gaming, they turn off again once the hardware has cooled down.

The Test: If you want to check if everything is working, simply launch a graphically demanding game. If the fans start moving on their own after a few minutes, everything is completely fine.

You can find the exact deadlines and conditions in detail in our Cancellation Policy. After a successful check, we will refund the purchase amount using your chosen payment method.

Yes. If you would like to change your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible using the contact options provided on our contact page.

As long as your PC has not yet been shipped, we can usually still adjust the configuration. Whether this affects the delivery time depends on the specific changes requested. Our customer service team will be happy to inform you about any expected delay.

If your order has already been shipped, we can in many cases initiate a parcel interception and return the PC to our facility. We will then make the requested changes and ship it again. This will typically extend the delivery time by a few days.

You can find all contact options bundled on our Contact Page. If you would like to write us a message directly, you can also contact us at any time by email at support@nykta-pc.eu.

No. A PC is a modular system, and you are of course allowed to open the case – whether for regular cleaning, visual inspection, or to retrofit another hard drive or more RAM later on. Simply opening the case by no means leads to the loss of your statutory guarantee or our voluntary warranty.

But Beware – Personal Fault is Excluded: The line is drawn where damage is caused by improper handling or errors during modification. If components are accidentally damaged while tinkering or cleaning, the warranty logically does not apply.

Therefore, please always observe the following precautionary measures:

  • Disconnect Power: Before opening the case, turn off the PC completely, flip the switch on the power supply to "O", and unplug the power cable.
  • Avoid Static Charge: Before reaching into the case, briefly touch a grounded object (e.g., a radiator) to prevent electrostatic discharges that could damage sensitive circuit boards.
  • No Force: All components in the PC can be installed and removed without great effort. If something jams, please check the locking mechanism again.

For full details on your exact rights and obligations, please take a look at our official Warranty Conditions and our GTC (AGB).

Sure thing! A gaming PC thrives on being upgradable. While many other manufacturers seal their cases, you are completely free with us. You are allowed to open your PC at any time to install a new SSD, expand the RAM, or upgrade to a different graphics card. Neither your statutory guarantee nor our voluntary NYKTA warranty expires due to mere upgrading.

To ensure everything goes smoothly while tinkering, however, you should keep a few important points in mind:

  • Your Warranty Remains Valid for Our Parts: If you install new components, they are logically not covered by our warranty, but by the respective manufacturer of the new part. All parts you originally received from us, however, remain protected by our warranty and guarantee.
  • No Liability for Installation Errors: The line is drawn where something is damaged as a result of the modification. If, for example, scratches occur on the circuit board during installation, cables are incorrectly connected, an incompatible component damages the system, or damage occurs due to overclocking (overclocking/overvolting), we cannot assume any liability.
Our Tip for Errors – Revert First: If the screen suddenly remains black or the PC crashes after installing a new part, try reverting to the original condition first. Often, this already resolves the error because, for example, the new component was incompatible or a cable was not properly seated.

Important for Support Cases: Should your PC experience a defect nonetheless and you need to send it to us for inspection, we ask you to restore the system as far as possible to its original delivery condition. Simply take your time during modifications, work without force, and always completely disconnect the PC from power beforehand. You can find the exact legal details and clauses as usual in our GTC (AGB) as well as in our Warranty Conditions.

To ensure your PC survives transport undamaged, it must be packed for return shipment exactly as it was delivered by us. The most important packaging steps at a glance:

  1. Check Graphics Card Bracket (Standard Case): Ensure that the supplied graphics card bracket is firmly mounted to stabilize the card in its slot.
Note: For 95% of our customers, this bracket is still installed in its original state – in this case, you do not need to do anything further. However, if you have removed the bracket (e.g., for cleaning or a modification), you must remount it properly before shipping.
  2. Insert Original Interior Transport Protection: You must insert the custom-fit PU (Instapak) and/or EPE foam block back into the interior of the case. It supports heavy components like the graphics card and CPU cooler and prevents them from snapping off during vibrations.
  3. Use Original Case Box: Place the PC into the custom-fit styrofoam or foam molded parts of the original box and pack it inside. However, the case packaging alone is not sufficient for parcel shipping.
  4. Bubble Wrap & Outer Packaging: Wrap the case box in sufficient bubble wrap to protect it from shocks and place it in a sturdy, larger outer box (overpack) that absorbs the actual transport pressure.
Why the correct packaging is so important (Your risks):

A fully equipped gaming PC is heavy, highly sensitive electronics. During transit, extreme forces act on the package due to vibrations, drops, or automated sorting in the depots of the shipping service providers. If the transport protection inside the case is missing, the graphics card bracket is dismantled, or the sturdy outer packaging is omitted, massive hardware damage is imminent.

In the worst-case scenario, the heavy graphics card or the CPU cooler tear out of their mountings and completely destroy the motherboard and other components.

Important to know: If the PC arrives damaged at our facility due to inadequate or improper packaging, the transport insurance of the shipping service provider will not apply. In this case, you as the sender are liable for the resulting transit damage, and we will have to deduct the loss in value from the refund amount.

No problem. Before taking a risk, we will gladly send you a set of suitable, secure packaging material (including custom-fit transport protection for the interior) for a flat fee of €19.90 plus shipping costs. Simply contact our support team for this.
