Statutory Mandatory Information under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
Information on the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
Disused electrical and electronic equipment can contain hazardous substances and valuable raw materials and therefore does not belong in household waste. As a consumer, you have the option to return old appliances free of charge. Please note the following legal information:
1. Prohibition of Disposal in Household Waste
Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste (household waste). All corresponding products have been marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin since 2005:

2. Separation of Batteries, Accumulators, and Lamps
If the products contain batteries, accumulators, or lamps, these must be removed and disposed of separately before disposal, provided that removal is possible without destructive intervention. This does not apply if old appliances are collected separately for the purpose of preparing them for re-use.
3. Personal Responsibility for Data Deletion
We point out that you are personally responsible for deleting sensitive or personal data on the old appliances to be disposed of.
4. Our Return Options for You
Although our business and shipping areas are below the legal minimum sizes, we offer you the option to return your old appliances free of charge in the interest of environmental protection and our service promise:
